Based on a pneumatic position control system, robust stability and robust performance of control systems with nonlinear parametric uncertainties are analysed, a new asymmetric Fuzzy PID control algorithm is developed and implemented. Robust stability and robust performance of control systems with mixed perturbations are dealt with, vertex and edge results are obtained. The robust stabilization problem of controle systems with parameter uncertainty is investigated,the concept of stabilizability radius is proposed and an effective procedure for its calculation is developed;it is shown that the pairwise simultaneous stabilizability of a plant family is equivalent to the stabilizability of the same plant family. Robust filtering algorithm is developed using the interval arithmetic algorithm.
