第九届彭桓武理论物理论坛

The 5th Theoretical Physics Fund Academic Panels decided that the 9th Peng Huanwu theoretical physics forum will be held in Oct.2013 at Tsinghua University. To memorize and learn the academic idea and scientific spirit of Prof.Peng Huanwu in theoretical physics field, Peng Huanwu Theoretical Physics Forum is one of the programs supported by the Theoretical Physics Fund. The forum will invite leading theoretical physicists to make academic reports on the frontiers of theoretical physics and new areas. These activities will encourage academic cooperation and exchange within theoretical physics and integration among theoretical physics, mathematics, biology, geoscience, cosmology, and applied sciences. After the discussion of the Theoretical Physics Fund Academic Panels, the forum will be held at Tsinghua University.

第五届理论物理专款学术领导小组会议决定，第九届彭桓武理论物理论坛将于2013年10月在清华大学举行。彭桓武理论物理论坛是理论物理专款支持的主要项目之一，是中国理论物理学界缅怀彭桓武先生，学习彭桓武先生学术思想和科学精神的重要学术活动。论坛将邀请学术界资深专家根据理论物理发展的前沿和最新研究结果，作相关学术报告和其他学术活动。这些活动将进一步加强理论物理内部各领域之间的学术合作与学术交流，加强理论物理和数学、生物、化学、地学、天文以及应用学科的交叉融合。经理论物理专款领导小组讨论，建议这次论坛在清华大学举办召开，是弘扬彭桓武的学术思想和科学精神，推动理论物理学科健康发展。
