At to present,only two genera and two species of Subfamily Pamphaginae distributed in Chuna. Haplotropis Saussure, 1888; type-species: Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 distributed in Asia, Amur River. The genus Sulcotropis erected by Yin & Chou in 1979,type species Sulcotropis cyanipes Yin & Chou, 1979 from Shaanxi. In Fauna of China, Haplotropis Saussure, 1888 = Sulcotropis cyanipes Yin & Chou, 1979 and Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 = Sulcotropis cyanipes Yin & Chou, 1979 respectively (Xia et al, 1994). A new species H.neimongolensis Yin, 1982 was described from Neimongol. The genus Sinohaplotropis erected by Cao et Yin in 2008, type-species Sinohaplotropis elunchuna Cao et Yin, 2008 from Elunchua. In 2011, Storozhenko et al recognized Haplotropis Saussure, 1888 = Sinohaplotropis elunchuna Cao et Yin, 2008 and Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 = H.neimongolensis Yin, 1982 = Sinohaplotropis elunchuna Cao et Yin, 2008. The new genus and species, Humphaplotropis Xiao et al, 2013 and Humphaplotropis taishanensis Xiao et al, 2013 were found from Taishan. The genus Sulcotropis Yin & Chou, 1979 was allied to Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888, but differs from latter by the pronotum with hind transverse sulcus cut median keel deeply. The genus Sinohaplotropis elunchuna Cao et Yin, 2008 was similar to Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888, but differs from latter by the subgenital plate of male with apex bifurcate in dorsal view. In taxonomy of grasshoppers, the pronotum with hind transverse sulcus cut median keel deeply and the subgenital plate of male with apex bifurcate in dorsal view are main characters in the key to genera of subfamily Oedipodinae and so on. But in Pamphigiane, they were not applied, we think that they must demonstrate by molecule or cross. If they have not late generations, or late generations never reproduction, then they are not a species, because of they have reproductive isolation together.
癞蝗亚科属直翅目蝗总科,在我国仅有2属、2种。笨蝗属Haplotropis 笨蝗H. brunneriana,驼笨蝗属Humphaplotropis,泰山驼笨蝗H. taishanensis。蓝胫沟笨蝗Sulcotropis cyanipes被中国动物志列为笨蝗的异名。 2011年Storozhenko 等把鄂伦春华笨蝗Sinohaplotropis elunchuna和内蒙古笨蝗都列为笨蝗的异名。沟笨蝗属建立的理由是前胸背板中隆线被后横沟深深切断;华笨蝗属建立的理由是雄性下生殖板顶端分叉。上列特征在蝗虫分类上通常都作为分属的特征。但在癞蝗亚科中不被采用,列为异名未说明理由,我们认为不妥。本研究试图用分子和杂交等方法来验证它们是否为同一属、种,如杂交不能产生后代,或有后代,但无生殖能力,说明它们生殖隔离,非同一物种,非同物异名,同时对中国癞蝗亚科昆虫做系统地研究。
本项目以蝗总科昆虫为研究对象,在项目执行期间共组织了5次野外考察,通过大量的野外采集,发现了中国动物志中笨蝗的分类问题,笨蝗Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888的模式产地为黑龙江流域(下游在俄罗斯境内,即阿穆尔河Amur River),模式标本为雌性,原图前胸背板中隆线不被后横沟割断,而动物志中的图是被后横沟割断的。模式标本的前翅长度大于同一水平线前胸背板的长度,而动物志中的图,为明显短于前胸背板的长度,显然不是同一个种。本项目收集到山东、河北、河南、江苏、安徽、陕西、山西、宁夏、内蒙等地的笨蝗雌性标本的翅都很短,不同于模式标本的图,定了2新种夏氏笨蝗Haplotropis xiai sp. nov.和逐鹿笨蝗Haplotropis zhuoluensis sp. nov. 其余的分类问题有待进一步研究。以线粒体基因COI、COII 和COIII为分子标记,开展了蝗总科、癞蝗科昆虫的分子系统发育研究,获得的分子系统树同我国现用蝗总科、癞蝗科等8科分类系统一致。本项目丰富了蝗总科、癞蝗科昆虫形态学生物学和分子生物学的数据,培养高水平学术人才,在国内外刊物上共发表论文25篇,SCI收录16篇,含2新属、36新种,其中产于台湾的有1新属、20新种,用台湾的地名和昆虫学专家的姓或标本采集人的姓作为种名,说明海峡两边学者之间的友谊长存,同时体现了台湾是我国的固有领土和海峡两岸一家亲。培养博士后1名、博士生2名,硕士研究生4名。.2015-2016年在河北邢台采到笨蝗类蝻数百头,进行饲养,蝻先后死亡,饲养失败。2017年饲养成功,用成虫做了前胸背板中隆线隆起与否、被后横沟割断与否等组合交配试验,得到了卵,能否孵化,到2018年方有结果。由于没有采到笨蝗模式产地的标本,用分子和杂交方法来验证笨蝗H. brunneriana,泰山驼笨蝗H. taishanensis;蓝胫沟笨蝗Sulcotropis cyanipes(被中国动物志列为笨蝗的异名)是否为同一属、种的计划未能完成,将进行后续的研究工作。
