It is one of important topics in hadron physics for studies on new hadrons, which is also a very competitive and hot field in the world. It is very helpful to deepen one's knowledge on structures of hadrons, and it is also of great importance to understand the behavior of QCD at low energy and nonperturbative QCD effects. This project intends to investigate some physics aspects related to new hadrons, such as their internal structures, mass spectra, production mechanisms, and decay processes. Inevitably, one has to solve the sophisticated nonperturbative QCD problem. We will mainly resort to QCD sum rules, and meanwhile probably adopt other theoretical methods according to the article to be studied. One can expect that it will be able to acquire very interesting and fruitful results on new hadrons, so that it could be helpful to realize inner structures and dynamics of new hadrons. The main feature of the project is that theoretical studies will be closely interrelated with experimental observations: on the one hand, we will pay close attention on the progress of experiments as well as on the conflict between experimental results and existing theoretical explanations, so that we could put forward some new scenario to interpret the existing experimental data; on the other hand, we are trying to give some new predictions from systematic QCD calculations and present some new suggestions on the design of new experiments.
新强子态研究是当前强子物理研究的重要前沿方向,同时也是国际上竞争异常激烈的热门研究领域,其不仅会使人们对强子结构有更加深刻的认识,而且对深入理解低能区QCD动力学行为及非微扰效应具有重要地意义。本项目旨在深入研究与新强子态相关的物理问题,诸如新强子态的结构,能谱,产生机制和衰变过程等。对这些问题的深入研究不可避免地要克服非微扰QCD困难,项目将主要借助QCD求和规则,但并不拘泥于此一种方法,拟根据研究问题的方便适时地兼顾其它方法。项目预期在新强子态研究方面取得丰硕的成果,企望可以帮助人们进一步了解物质深层次的结构和运动规律。项目的突出特色是理论研究紧密地联系实验观测:项目将密切关注国内外高能物理实验的最新进展,关注新实验结果和现有理论的冲突,提出新的理论方案来合理地解释实验结果;通过系统地理论计算,给出一些新的理论预言、提出设计相关新实验的建议,为进一步地实验观测提供依据。
