In this project, we will carry out a intergrated study of U-Th-Pb dating and Sm-Nd and Hf-O isotope analyses for detriatal monazites and zircons from the Huanghe and Changjiang river systems. The results will be used to reveal the timings and features of the magmatic and tectonic events of their catchment areas. Combined with previous results, our results will show the similarities and differences on the recording of regional magmatic and tectonic events and crustal growth history by detrital monazite and zircon from large rivers. This study will provide a new way to trace regional magmatic and tectonic events and crustal growth history by detrital mineral from large rivers.
对黄河和长江水系选择代表性河砂样品进行碎屑独居石和锆石的U-Th-Pb定年以及Sm-Nd和Hf-O同位素分析,确定不同河流汇水区域的岩浆构造作用时间和性质。结合前人已有的区域研究成果,确定不同河流汇水区域碎屑独居石和碎屑锆石对区域岩浆构造事件和地壳生长历史记录的异同,为河流碎屑副矿物示踪物源区岩浆构造时间和地壳生长历史提供重要新的手段。
我们对黄河和长江及其代表性支流的河砂样品进行碎屑独居石和锆石的U-Th-Pb定年以及Sm-Nd和Hf-O同位素分析,确定不同河流汇水区域的岩浆构造作用时间及同位素组成特征。根据国际研究的最新进展,我们增加了对磷灰石和榍石的U-Pb定年和Sm-Nd同位素分析,以及碎屑金红石的U-Pb定年和微量元素工作。结合前人已有的区域研究成果,明确相对稳定地台区和强烈增生和再造区域碎屑独居石和碎屑锆石对区域岩浆构造事件和地壳生长历史记录的异同,为河流碎屑副矿物示踪物源区地壳形成和演化提供新的手段和方法。
