With the discovery of the Higgs boson, despite the fact that it has been further verified, the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics itself has encountered several problems, one of them is the hierarchy problem, extra dimensions models, such as the ADD and RS extra dimensions models, are the extensions of the SM which have been proposed to solve this problem. The major objective of the future high energy colliders like LHC,ILC and CLIC is to further examine the properties of the Higgs boson and look for possible signatures of new physics. The present research plans to precisely study the phenomenology of the quantum effects, i.e., the virtual effects, of the ADD and RS extra dimensions at high energy colliders, the focus will be put on the analyses of the (associated) production processes of the Higgs boson, we will also offer the high-precision predictions to the NLO QCD or NNLO QCD levels. The significance of the present research lies in the prospect that it can not only provide the theoretical guides to the precise tests of the coupling properties of the Higgs boson, but also help search for the extra dimensions’ signals at high energy colliders.
随着Higgs粒子的发现,粒子物理学标准模型得到了进一步的确认,但标准模型本身仍然面临诸多问题,规范等级差问题即是其中之一,额外维模型如ADD额外维和RS额外维模型等是解决此问题的扩展模型。进一步精确检验Higgs粒子的性质及探寻可能的新物理信号是未来高能对撞机如LHC、ILC及CLIC上的主要研究目标。本项目拟精确研究高能对撞机上额外维量子效应即虚效应的现象学,重点分析Higgs粒子(伴随)产生过程中的ADD及RS额外维量子效应,并给出NLO QCD及NNLO QCD修正意义上的高精度理论预言。本项目的研究可以为Higgs粒子耦合性质的精确检验提供理论依据,也有助于指导高能对撞机上额外维信号的实验寻找。
精确研究Higgs粒子的性质以及寻找可能的新物理信号是当前高能粒子物理学的主要目标之一,本项目面向高能对撞机精确研究额外维量子效应的现象学, 重点分析Higgs粒子伴随产生过程中的ADD及RS额外维量子信号及其本底过程, 给出NLO QCD、NLO+NLL QCD及NLO QCD+NLO EW修正意义上的高精度理论预言。我们研究了LHC及HE-LHC上Higgs粒子对产生过程中RS1额外维虚效应的NLO QCD修正,分析了NLO+NLL QCD修正的HZ伴随产生过程,系统研究了Higgs粒子伴随产生过程重要本底NLO QCD+NLO EW精确结果,同时,在标准模型有效场论框架内研究了LHC上NLO QCD修正的Higgs粒子对的VBF产生过程。本项目研究可以为Higgs粒子耦合性质的精确检验及额外维信号的实验寻找提供理论依据。
