The effects of different extracts of phyllanthus emblica on hyperlipemia, hemorrheology and hemoglobin function on experimental bloodstasis in mouse model and hyperlipemia in mouse and rabbit model were studied. The effects of phyllanthus emblica on the damage of arterial wall and experimental atherosclerosis in hyperlipemia rabbit model were investigated. In result, phyllanthus emblica and its polyphenols could reduce the blood specific viscosity obviously, reduce the level of serum triglyceride (TG) , total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), but elevate HDL-C level significantly. It could also reduc the content of lipid of aorta as well as of liver. It could significantly reduc the the plasma endothelin level and the gene expression of ET-1 , protect vascular endothelium . could reduce the level of malondialdehyde (MDA) but elevate the level of total antioxidation capacity(TAC), reduce the aorta plaque areas. These findings not only suggested the mechanism of phyllanthus emblica on blood trouble and the experimental atherosclerosis in hyperlipemia rabbits, but also suggested that the effective materials are polyphenols. 17 compounds were isolated and 11 compounds of them were elucidated. These findings provide the scientific basis for the use and develop of phyllanthus emblica as a Tibetan herbs.
.余甘子系常用藏药,主治血病、赤巴病、培根病,以治血病中的多血症为长。本课题是在叶下珠属植物研究的基础上,对本属植物余甘子作为藏药治疗多血症进行中药药理及中药化学的研究,从细胞水平阐明余甘子治疗多血症的物质基础和作用机理,为藏医药基础理论的研究提供科学的依据和方法,为余甘子的资源利用与开发奠定基础。
