fMRI study on Memory of cross-modal-temporal-order suggests that right PFC may play a special and important role in the Episodic buffer - the Core of Working memory. Other fMRI studie on Serial effect of verbal STM, Attention shift in worikng memory, Time-based binding of visual features, and Memory of aged people have generated significant and interesting results as well. Comparation between Go and Chess showed that there was no significant activation of PFC in both Go and Chess, and in contrast with Chess, the right leteralization in parietal lobe was found in Go. These new findings have captured attention of scientists in the relevant field, the web of Nature and Trend in Cognitive Science have printed special news for this comparison study, respectively.
