The snow sublimation process of forest, which includes sublimation and evaporation, is important for the understanding of land surface energy and water balance. It is also a key issue for hydrologic model and regional climate estimation, and to face with the global climate changing and the security of water resources. The research of forest snow sublimation, especially of the broadleaved Korean pine forest in Changbai Mountain, is not enough to consider the impact of composition and structure of forest on snow sublimation. We will make a system study of the snow sublimation process over the broadleaved Korean pine forest in Changbai Mountain, using the measurements of five eddy covariance systems over bare land, 30 years old secondary broadleaved Korean pine forest and natural broadleaved Korean pine forest, three different land use covers, coupling with the simultaneity snow property and the environmental meteorological measurements. The main aim of the study is to reveal the impact machanism of snow redistribution process and snow sublimation process caused by composition and structure of forest, establish a theoretical forest snow sublimation model, considering the impact of forest structure, to make progress on the simulation and prediction of forest snow sublimation process under the background of climate change.
森林积雪升华(包括升华和蒸发)动态过程的准确估算,是正确理解地表能量和水量平衡的关键,也是区域水文模型和气候模式的重要环节,对应对全球变化与水资源安全具有重要意义。目前森林下垫面,特别是温带针阔混交林的积雪升华过程研究还很薄弱,相关模型无法反映森林组成与结构对积雪升华过程的影响。本项目拟以长白山阔叶红松林为研究对象,通过5套涡动相关系统对裸地、30年次生针阔混交林林冠上下和老龄林林冠上下水汽通量进行观测,结合相应气象要素与积雪变化过程观测,揭示森林组成与结构对林冠截雪过程及其对积雪升华过程的影响规律,构建以森林组成与结构为特征参数的积雪升华过程模型,为提高森林积雪升华过程模拟精度和准确预测全球变化背景下积雪升华过程提供理论依据。
