Chiral organic dyes, especially those exhibiting circularly polarized luminescence (CPL), have attracted a considerable amount of interests, as those dyes not only have a wide range of applications such as 3D optical displays, information encryption and storage, but also could effectively reflect the chiral structure information of molecules in the excited state, which has great significance in theory and applicaion, in recent years, which has become one of the hot spots in the field of chiral organic materials. Although a variety of chiral organic dyes exhibiting CPL have been developed, the traditionally obtained strategy is introducing chiral groups into the luminescence molecules, which existing various insufficiencies such as limited species, difficult derivatization, low efficiency. In this program, we will ingeniously combine the chiral helicene and aromatic imide for creation of novel helix-chiral aromatic imide derivatives, which not only can develop multi-functional chiral organic dyes with CPL, but also be conducive to investigating chiral nano-assemblies with controllable morphologies and stimulus-response. Based on the above, the outcomes of this program will be benefit for expanding functional applications in the fields of chiral optoelectronic materials and chiral nano materials both theoretically and experimentally.
具有圆偏振发光(CPL)等手性发光性质的手性有机发光分子,不仅在3D成像,信息加密与存储等领域有广泛的应用前景,还能有效地反映分子的激发态手性结构信息,具有重要的实际应用价值和理论意义,近年来成为手性有机材料领域的一个热点。尽管人们已发展了多种手性有机发光分子,但绝大多数还是通过传统的策略在已有的发光分子上引入手性基团,存在种类少、衍生化困难、发光效率低等一系列不足。本项目拟巧妙地结合手性螺烯和芳酰亚胺,开展新型螺旋手性芳酰亚胺的合成、纳米组装及刺激响应的研究工作。不仅能够发展一系列具有CPL等手性光电性质的多官能团化的新型螺旋手性芳酰亚胺衍生物,还有助于探究手性纳米组装体的可控构筑及不同形貌的手性组装体之间的响应型转化。通过本项目的研究将为拓展其在手性光电材料和手性纳米材料等领域的功能化应用提供理论和实验依据。
手性发光分子在三维显示、信息存储与加密、自组装材料等领域有广泛应用前景,因此发展新型高效手性发光分子是手性材料化学领域非常重要的课题。本项目基于螺旋手性和芳酰亚胺设计合成一系列高性能手性发光分子,并探索其纳米组装性质及其在OLEDs中应用:构筑了一系列新型螺烯衍生物;基于螺旋手性芳酰亚胺的纳米组装研究,制备了一系列具有全色圆偏振发光性质的手性纳米粒子;合成了一类基于芳酰亚胺的TADF分子,并实现了高效OLED的制备;首次基于兼具CPL和TADF性质的手性芳酰亚胺分子材料实现了兼具高器件效率和电致圆偏振发光性质的CP-OLEDs的制备。我们相信研究结果有利于拓展螺烯和手性芳酰亚胺在手性纳米组装材料、手性光电材料与功能器件等领域的应用。
