International medical researchers began to pay attention to the special antibacterial effects of Chinese medicine WuGuChong (commonly known as maggots) for serious bacterial infection. But most of research have focused on the experimental and clinical study in vitro antibacterial treatment. As Asia''s first research group to study WuGuChong antibacterial and biological treatment, in a lot of preliminary work based on originality, under the guideline of the concept of Chinese medicine theory, the innovational studies should be carried out as follows: 1) to achieve animal serum contained antibacterial ingredients of WuGuChong, innovate chromatography purification technology with the theory of cooperation and overall compatibility, extract serum containing the active antimicrobial component successfully, get the key biological information to discover new antibacterial efficiency and compatibility of materials; 2) to establish with serum in vitro antibacterial and WuGuChong fed rat model of anti-infection model in vivo, from a dual perspective in vitro and in vivo, in aspects of morphology, cell metabolism, protein and gene level, the characteristics and antibacterial activity mechanism in vivo should be studied and interpreted comprehensively; 3) systematic study of WuGuChong on rat immune organs, cells, antibodies and expression of inflammatory cytokines, master its regulatory mechanisms of immune function. This issue will provide new ideas for the effective treatment of bacterial infections in vivo and the research of Chinese traditional animal medicine, to lay the theoretical foundation for industrial development of "new Chinese anti-bacterial and immune-enhancing agents".
中药五谷虫(俗称蛆虫)对严重细菌感染的特效抗菌作用日益受到国际医学界重视,但目前研究主要集中于体外抗菌实验和临床治疗。课题组作为亚洲率先进行五谷虫抗菌与生物治疗研究的团队,在大量独创性前期工作基础上,以中医整体观理论为指导,于国际上首创性地进行如下研究:1)获取含五谷虫药物成分的动物血清,采用组分配伍整体理论对层析提纯技术进行创新,成功提取含药血清中的有效抗菌组分,获得关键生物信息,发现新的抗菌和配伍增效物质;2)建立含药血清体外抗菌模型和五谷虫灌胃大鼠体内抗感染模型,从离体和在体双重角度,在形态学、细胞代谢、蛋白质和基因水平上全面研究并阐释五谷虫体内抗菌作用的特点与机理;3)系统研究五谷虫对大鼠免疫器官、淋巴细胞、抗体和炎症因子表达的影响,掌握其对机体免疫功能的调节机制。本课题将为体内细菌感染的有效治疗及中药动物药研究提供新思路,为“新型中药抗菌和免疫增强制剂”产业化研发奠定理论基础。
