A novel stilbene-type epoxy liquild crystalline resin was synthesed, the.online measuring techneque for the struture of the epoxy resin under the magnetic field was developed; the development of the structure-property-magnetic field.correlation of liquild crystalline epoxy resin was measured and discussed; liquild crystalline epoxy/carbon fiber composites was prepared under magnetic field and characterized. Results show that oritention degree is dependent on the strength of the magnetic field and curing procedures, properties of cured resins is dependent on the orientation degree; the development oritntion of cracks in the cure resins was random, and the oritentated liquild crystalline resin have better properties in both.oritention and transverse directions, the tensile strength, moduluds, and elongation of otientated resins are two times higher of that of non-oritentated resins; under optimum condition, composites with special crystalline oritentation along fiber direction could be prepared, which has excellent hardness, toughness and strength,.expecially higher compress strength after impact.
