This project aims to study the detemined value of the soil along the geographical vertical bands and its changing physical and chemical features with the changing altitudes and the inter-relations of the ecological factors so as to establish the basic databank of the the detemined value of the soil ad its physical and chemical features in Xia'erxili Nature Reserve. The study, guided by a combined approaches through combining the knowledge of sedementology, soil science, plant geography, cartograph, GIS techonology, meteorology, will be carried out through taking Xia'erxili Nature Reserve which has little been disturbed by human inteferences but in which a kind of primitive landscape still exists as the target area, and using the experiment to measure the detemined value of the soil along the geographical vertical bands and their physical and chemical features of the study area as the core task, and using the methods of combined indoor experiment and field surveys as well as the macro and micro quantitative analysis. Based on all the above, the study aims to explain the dymnamics of soil element scirculation and regulation within the ecosystems and between the different eco-systems of the vertical bands in the Nature Reserve and at the same time it aims to provide a comparative base for further studies on present eco-conditions and evolution trends of different mountain vegetation soil of airid zones with the expectation to enrich the studies of China's mountain soil background value and to provide basic data for the thorough understanding of the eco-systems, resource management and protection of Xia'erxili Nature Reserve.
以人为干扰极弱而颇具典型原始特性的夏尔希里自然保护区为研究靶区,以实验测定研究区内各自然地理垂直带谱中土壤背景值及其理化特征为核心,综合运用沉积学、土壤学、植物地理学、地图学与地理信息系统、气象气候学等学科理论为指导,野外考察实测与室内实验分析相结合,宏观分析与微观定量相结合,统计分析与数学建模相结合,研究保护区内自然地理各垂直带谱的土壤背景值及其理化特征沿海拔高度的变化规律及其与各种生态因子的关系,建立夏尔希里自然保护区内土壤背景值及其理化特征的本底数据库。在此基础上,拟阐明保护区内垂直带谱中各生态系统内部以及生态系统之间土壤元素的循环及调控机理。同时为研究干旱区山地不同植被土壤的生态现状和演化趋势,提供完整的比照基础,以期丰富我国干旱区山地土壤背景值的研究内容,并为完整认识夏尔希里保护区各生态系统和保护区资源管理与保护提供基础性资料。
