The four parameters transport theory of gas is established based on the PT experiments. The transport coefficients (electron drift velocity, diffusion coefficient, detachment coefficient, conversion coefficient, ionization coefficient, attachment coefficient) are measured by PT experiment. The effect of transport characters on the discharge and electrical insulation performance of SF6 gas mixtures is analyzed. Electron transport process of several SF6 gas mixtures is simulated by Monte Carlo method. The correctness and apply range of four parameters theory are also validated by Monte Carlo simulation. The impact of transport characters on the gas discharge performance and cooperation effect of SF6 gas mixtures is carefully analyzed. Several SF6 gas mixtures which is suitable to electrical insulation, laser technique and plasma technique are deduced out by the experiments and simulation. The conclusion has clearly academic value and innovation and can be obvious guidance in electrical insulation, laser technique and plasma technique domain.
