KASCADE (Karlsruhe Shower Core And Array Detector) is an famous hybrid air shower array, whick had been taken data for about 16 years, starting from 1996. KASCADE KASCADE obtained important results in the measurement of cosmic ray spectectrum and composition at Knee region, the study on the interaction model at Ultra-high energy. But the study on the Ultra-high energy gamma ray emission was not sufficiently explored. In China, both of the Tibet ASγ experiment and the LHAASO project are aimed at the same gamma ray physics. The update of the Tibet ASγ experiment is finished in 2013 and start to talk data at 2014, no data is collected now. The LHAASO is still at the R&D phase. In order to explore the Ultra-high energy gamma ray astronomy and get more experimence in the data reconstruction and physics analysis, the proposer cooperate with KASCADE collaboration on the topic of Ulta-high gamma ray. One improvement about the KASCADE data reconstruction was made during the proposer's visiting at 2012. In 2013, The proposer visited Karlsruhe to do the analysis again. The Limits on the isotropic diffuse γ-rays at ultra high energy and preliminary result of the northern sky survey for steady point sources of Ultra-high energy γ-rays were obtained. In this project, it is proposed to go on the analysis on the topic of Ultra-high energy gamma ray with KASCADE. It would be helpful to get the physical result of the Tibet ASγ experiment and to be a fresh impetus for the LHAASO project.
德国KASCADE实验是国际上著名地面复合大气簇射阵列,自19996年开始运行了16年。其在膝区宇宙线能谱测量,相互作用模型研究方面做出了重要的贡献,而在寻找超高能伽玛射线研究上有很大的潜力有待挖掘。国内瞄准相同能区伽玛射线物理目标的西藏ASgamma实验刚升级改造完,无积累数据,而LHAASO实验尚处于预先研究阶段。基于科学目标,同时学习积累数据重建与物理分析经验,申请人开展了与KASCADE实验超高能伽玛射线的合作研究。2012年访问研究发现了其数据重重建需要改进,促使KASCADE实验组组织力量重新重建了十六年的数据。2013年访问得到了超高能能区对全天伽马射线流强的设限和北天区全天扫描找源最新初步结果。现申请本项目支持进一步加强研究分析,得到高水平的物理成果,.这将对于获取我们在西藏实验的物理成果,对于推动未来的LHAASO实验研究都具有重要意义。
德国KASCADE实验是国际上著名地面复合大气簇射阵列,自19996年开始运行了16年。其在膝区宇宙线能谱测量,相互作用模型研究方面做出了重要的贡献,而在寻找超高能伽玛射线研究上有很大的潜力有待挖掘。利用KASCDE16年数据,顺利开展了改研究,并给出了100TeV以上弥散伽马射线的上限,限制了IceCube中微子起源,该工作发表在国际期刊ApJ上。同时,利用中日合作项目ASg阵列,开展了北天区大尺度各项异性的研究,研究了各向异性随能量的演化过程,该工作也发表在国际期刊ApJ 上。
