One-day-old SPF chicklings were inoculated via intracephalic injection with AEV-NH937 strain.By using flow cytometry,in situ hybridiztion,immunohisto chemistry,molecular clone and sequencing,etc,to study the molecular pathogenesis of avian encephalomyelitis.The results showed:(1)The high expression of CD18,CD31,CD54 and their Ligands on lymphocytes and endothelia in Ae was the main cause for lymphocytes to stick and to emigrate from the blood vessels;(2)The up-expression of chemokines IL-8 and MIP-1β in inflammatory region, was the chief force for the infiltrated tymphocytes to move toward the non-suppurative encephalomyelitis;(3) The main infiltrated cells, including the perivascular cuffing cells in the infected brain tissure, were CD3+CD8+ Lymphocytes;(4)Both necrosis and apoptosis of nerve cells were the basic characteristics of AE;(5)Clonig and sequencing of IL-1β、IL-8 and MIP-1β were firstly reported in China.
