Dahutang deposit is a recently found giant tungsten (copper) ore deposit in the northern Jiangxi Province, South China. This project aims at the multiple stage granitic magmatism and associated mineralization, in an attempt to reveal the petrogenesis of the multiple stage granites and the formational mechanism of tungsten and copper co-deposition in this giant deposit. We will apply a combination of modern mineralogical, petrological and geochemical methods, in particular the high-precision zircon U-Pb dating, molybdenite Re-Os dating, scheelite Sm-Nd dating, and the in-situ zircon Hf-O isotope analysis, the LA-ICP-MS scheelite trace element analysis, and O-H-S-Pb isotope analysis and fluid inclusion study. Using these methods, we try to answer 1) the time frame of the granitic magmatism and associated mineralization; 2) the origin of the multiple stage granites and their relationship with tungsten mineralization; 3) the source of ore metals and ore-forming fluids. This project will finally present a clear view for the granitic magmatic events and their geodynamic environments in the region, the characteristic of the tungsten and copper mineralization, and the controlling factors of magmatic, tectonic, and deep processes on the huge amount metal accumulation in the Dahutang deposit, and the ore genetic models.
大湖塘矿床是近年来在赣北发现的一个超大型钨(铜)多金属矿床。本项目以该区多阶段燕山期花岗岩的成因及与成矿的关系为主线,围绕"花岗岩成因及钨铜多金属共生与巨量堆积成矿机理"这一关键科学问题, 运用现代矿物学、岩石学和地球化学新理论和新方法,特别是高精度锆石U-Pb定年、辉钼矿Re-Os定年、白钨矿Sm-Nd定年、锆石原位微区Hf-O同位素、白钨矿原位微区微量稀土元素分析以及O-H-S-Pb同位素和流体包裹体研究, 重点开展如下几方面研究:1)大湖塘矿床成岩成矿年代学格架; 2)不同期次花岗岩起源、演化及与成矿的关系; 3)矿床的成矿物质与成矿流体来源。力图查明赣北大湖塘地区多期花岗岩的时空分布规律及其动力学背景,精细刻画该区钨铜多金属成矿作用特征,揭示岩浆-构造-深部过程对该区钨铜巨量金属成矿作用的制约,建立成岩成矿模型。
本项目对赣北新发现的大湖塘超大型钨(铜)多金属矿床开展了系统的地质地球化学研究。研究中采用了现代矿物学、岩石学和地球化学新理论和新方法, 特别是高精度锆石U-Pb定年、辉钼矿Re-Os定年、白钨矿Sm-Nd定年、锆石原位微区Hf-O同位素、白钨矿原位微区微量稀土元素分析以及O-H-S-Pb同位素和流体包裹体研究, 对大湖塘矿床的成岩成矿年代学格架; 不同期次花岗岩起源、演化及与成矿的关系; 矿床的成矿物质与成矿流体来源等方面开展研究,查明了赣北大湖塘地区多期花岗岩的时空分布规律及其动力学背景,精细刻画了该区钨铜多金属成矿作用特征,建立成岩成矿模型。己发表SCI论文4篇,多次应邀在国际国内学术会议上介绍相关研究进展。
