The wide-band uni-directional antennas with end-fire structures require large size, therefore, they are not suitable for low-profile applications. The broadside uni-directional antennas that used PEC as reflector require a profile of λ/4, while the antennas utilized AMC as reflector require the AMC to be periodic structures. And, these two reflectors must large enough to obtain uni-directional patterns, besides, the bandwidth of the are narrow. Hence, it has important research significance and application value to realize broadside uni-directional antenna with low-profile and wide-band. In this project, we launch research on novel resonance reflector based wide-band low-profile uni-directional antenna techniques. By researching the operational mechanism, electromagnetic characteristics and basic theory of resonance reflector, the theory and approach of the resonance reflector based linear polarization/dual polarization wide-band uni-directional antenna, the theory and approach of the resonance reflector based circular polarization wide-band uni-directional antenna, and several wideband techniques (multi-resonance reflector method, multi-layer resoance reflector method, director method and mixing method), we try to obtain new breakthrough in designing wide-band uni-directional antennas. And, we will endeavor to construct theoretical system and design approach for resonance reflector based wide-band low-profile uni-directional antenna to meet the progressive requirement for modern wireless systems.
端射结构的宽带定向天线纵向尺寸较大,不适合低剖面的应用;边射结构的定向天线中使用金属(PEC)反射板的天线剖面厚度达到λ/4,使用人工磁导体(AMC)的天线其反射器需要多个周期,因此这两种反射器的天线的面积都较大且频带宽度不宽。实现低剖面边射型宽带定向天线具有重要的研究意义和应用价值。本课题拟开展基于新型谐振式反射器的宽带低剖面定向天线技术研究。主要对谐振式反射器的谐振效应、工作机理、电磁特性和基本理论、基于谐振式反射器的线极化/双极化宽带定向天线的理论和方法、基于谐振式反射器的圆极化宽带定向天线的理论和方法,以及多种宽频技术(多谐振型谐振式反射器法、多层谐振式反射器法以及引向器法和混合法)展开研究。通过一系列的研究,争取在宽带定向天线的理论和技术方面取得新的重大突破,探索基于谐振式反射器宽带定向天线的理论体系和设计方法,以满足与环境日趋融合的现代无线系统对低剖面宽带定向天线发展的要求。
本课题提出了谐振式反射器的概念、机理和实现方法,并利用谐振式反射器设计宽频带的定向天线,以解决端射定向天线尺寸较大,使用金属(PEC)反射板的边射定向天线的剖面厚,使用人工磁导体(AMC)的天线其反射器需要多个周期因为面积大带宽窄等问题;本课题实现了低剖面宽带定向天线。本课题开展了基于新型谐振式反射器的宽带低剖面定向天线技术研究。主要对谐振式反射器的谐振效应、工作机理、电磁特性和基本理论、基于谐振式反射器的线极化/双极化宽带定向天线的理论和方法、基于谐振式反射器的圆极化宽带定向天线的理论和方法,以及宽频谐振式反射器展开了研究。通过一系列的研究,在宽带定向天线的理论和技术方面取得突破,完成基于谐振式反射器宽带定向天线的理论体系和设计方法,为低剖面宽带定向天线的设计提供技术支持。
