I propose a two part study on globular clusters and dwarf galaxies in the Virgo cluster of galaxies.1) a comprehensive study of the globular clusters of early-type galaxies in the Virgo Cluster using high resolution imaging from the HST; 2) an unparalleled deep and wide field imaging of the core of the Virgo cluster from the CFHT's Megacam to study the dwarf galaxies in the cluster core.
