The reinforced earth is known as a composite material to bring benefits to human beings after the reinforced concrete. And the reinforced earth retaining wall is a typical structure that uses the reinforced earth technology in engineering practice, which has the advantages of flexibility, beauty, economy and easy construction. The flexible retaining wall built with soilbags is a new structure using the reinforced earth technology, which has more advantages over the reinforced earth retaining wall, such as the good seismic performance, low construction cost and a wide range of bag-filling materials. In this application, the work performance and design theory of the flexible retaining wall built with soilbags will be systematically studied through physical model tests, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis. It covers the following contents: to research on the pressure distribution and transfer law behind and within the soilbag flexible retaining wall, to illuminate the work mechanism of the flexible soilbag retaining wall, to verify its seismic performance, to propose the design theory and calculation method for this structure, and to numerically simulate it using finite element method. The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical basis and design methods for the promotion and application of the flexible retaining wall built with soilbags, and to promote the development of the reinforced soil technology.
加筋土被誉为继钢筋混凝土之后的又一造福人类的复合材料。加筋土挡墙是加筋土技术应用于工程实践的一种重要形式,具有结构柔性、美观经济和施工简单等优点。土工袋柔性挡墙是一种新型的加筋土挡墙结构,除具有加筋土挡墙的优点外,还具有抗震性能好、工程造价低、袋内材料取材广泛等优点。本项目采用物理模型试验、数值模拟计算与理论分析相结合的方法,对土工袋柔性挡墙的工作性能及设计理论进行详细系统的研究,主要内容有:研究土工袋柔性挡墙土压力分布及传递规律、解明土工袋柔性挡墙的工作机理、验证土工袋柔性挡墙的抗震性能、提出土工袋挡墙的设计理论与计算方法,进行有限元数值模拟。本项目研究为土工袋柔性挡墙的推广应用提供理论依据与设计方法,同时也促进了加筋土技术的发展。
