科学研究社会影响力评价的理论与实证研究——基于行动者网络的视角

In recent year, a growing attention is dedicated to the assessment of research’s social impact. Some developed countries have been transforming their national research assessment system, which includes social impact of research as part of the system. However, theoretical and methodological research on social impact have not developed enough to meet the need of research assessment practices. The gap directly initiates this program with the goal of presenting a comprehensive research on science’s social impact from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. Based on theoretical research on mechanism of sciences’ impact on society, an Actor-network Theory based analytical model will be explored to mapping the process of science’s impact among the whole society. The empirical research will describe the operationalization of the proposed actor network’s basic property with the aim to provide the indicators system for the mapping. NSFC funded projects in information science as well as CAS funded projects in brain science will be selected as two samples in empirical research to verify the validity of theoretical analytical model and the indicators system proposed in this project.

近年来科学研究的社会影响力评价越来越受到人们的关注，一些西方国家开始探索转变国家科学评价体系，将社会影响力评估作为国家科学评估体系的一部分。但科学研究社会影响力的理论与方法研究还不足以支撑社会影响力评价的实践。本项目从理论和实证两个层面对科学研究的社会影响力进行研究。本项目拟在分析科学研究社会影响力产生机理的基础上，提出基于行动者网络理论的社会影响力分析模型，构建测度指标体系，并以国家自然科学基金委资助的信息科学研究项目和中科院“脑科学”先导专项为例，对科学研究的社会影响力进行实证分析和测度，验证理论模型和测度指标体系的可靠性。

随着科研资助机构和管理机构对科学研究可能产生的价值评估越来越重视，一些西方国家甚至开始探索将社会影响力评估作为国家科学评估体系的一部分，科学研究的社会影响力评价开始受到越来越多的关注。但科学研究社会影响力的理论与方法研究还不足以支撑社会影响力评价的实践。. 本项目以科学研究的社会影响力为研究对象，进行了理论探索和实证分析。主要研究贡献：一是从知识转移视角分析了科学研究社会影响力的产生机理，提出社会影响力产生的主要路径；二是引入行动者网络理论，构建了科学研究的社会影响力分析模型；三是构建了多维度科学研究社会影响力测度指标体系；四是以脑科学和信息科学领域研究为例，构建包含论文、专利、媒体、企业等数据在内的大规模数据集，进行了实证分析。. 本项目研究为科学研究社会影响力的评价提供了一种新的思路和理论框架，并在该框架下进行了实证探索，为社会影响力评价提供了有益的借鉴。
