This project tries to find some effective parallelizing methods for system software by studying gcc in spec95. In this project, we developed a parallelizing compiler Agassiz in which non-local jump elimination, pointer analysis, control and data flow analysis, runtime dynamic dataflow analysis are implemented. These works, among which the point-to analysis is the top, are very important to analyze non-numerical computing programs.
