The delaminating damage simulation is a great challenge to the design and analysis of the composite laminated structures. In the software development of the delaminating damage simulation, the existed structure analysis software platform is used. Some new finite element methods are developed in the project to deal with the composite laminated structures, the mixed sub-region of the notched entities, and the interface regions. .The project is also focused on the high-precision and high-performance element models based on the analytical trial functions. In order to use those models to calculate the composite laminated structures, some new elements of the laminated plates, the laminated entities and the delaminated entities are developed respectively. The challenges in the calculation of interlamination stresses and boundary effect phenomenon in composite laminated plates are expected to be solved. In addition, the delaminating damage simulation models are expected to be integrated into the general design software platform. Then the same geometric model can be transformed into various finite element models. Those finite element models for each delaminating damage simulation stages will be unified into the professional software of the delaminating damage simulation. It can service related industries of our state..The project makes the best use of the existing software platforms and the old research achievements. By solving some key challenges in the delaminating damage simulation, the achievements of the project will be integrated into one professional software platform of the delaminating damage simulation in the composite laminated structures.
