Optical fiber communication, optical sensing and atomic physics, and so on, it is urgent to need ultra narrow linewidth, high frequency stability, fast and accurate tuning of the laser. But at present, there is no Hz level of ultra narrow linewidth laser at home and abroad, and at the same time to meet the characteristics of frequency stability and frequency tuning. The project intends to generate Brillouin laser by stimulated Brillouin scattering of silicon based micro-cavity. By optimizing the cavity filtering device, to achieve single longitudinal mode ultra narrow linewidth laser output; based on laser frequency stabilization system of high precision side locking to realize the high frequency stability; combined with external modulation technique to obtain fast and accurate frequency tuning characteristics. Finally single longitudinal mode ultra narrow linewidth and high frequency tunable laser with the international advanced level is developed.
光纤通信、光传感和原子物理等前沿研究迫切需要超窄线宽、高频率稳定度、快速准确调谐的激光器。但是目前国内外尚无Hz量级的超窄线宽激光输出且同时满足频率稳定和频率调谐的特性。本项目拟采用基于硅基微腔的受激布里渊散射效应,产生布里渊激光器,通过优化腔内滤波器件,实现单纵模超窄线宽激光输出;采用基于边频锁定的高精度稳频系统实现激光的高频率稳定度;结合外调制技术获得快速准确的频率调谐特性。最终研制出具有国际先进水平的单频超窄线宽高稳频可调谐激光器。
光纤通信、光传感和原子物理等前沿研究迫切需要超窄线宽、高频率稳定度、快速准确调谐的激光器。本项目采用基于硅基微腔的受激布里渊散射效应,通过优化腔内滤波器件,压窄激光器的线宽,实现单纵模超窄线宽激光输出,采用高精度驱动和温控实现激光的高频率稳定度,最终研制出具有国际先进水平的单频超窄线宽高稳频可调谐激光器,测试得出激光器的线宽为265Hz,调谐范围32GHz,频率稳定性标准方差小于10-8。研制出的单频超窄线宽高稳频可调谐激光器在我国空间激光通信、水声探测等相关的国家重大工程任务都有迫切的应用需求。
