In order to explore the nature of business process flexibility and the impact of business process modeling technologies on business process flexibility, this project is going to study the mapping between business process flexibility and business process modeling technologies. Based on the types of independency and the constraints caused by them which were derived from the application of coordination theory in the Business Process Management domain, the essential characteristics and taxonomy of process flexibility will be derived, and a business process flexibility model will be developed. Based on the thinking of pattern, a set of scenarios for process simulation will be constructed. After the identification of metrics for measuring process flexibility, multiple business process modeling technologies will be used in process simulation experiments. The simulation results will be analyzed using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, and a mapping model between process flexibility and process modeling technologies will be built up on the analysis. To explore the application of this mapping model, a platform for evaluating the process flexibility capability of process modeling technologies will be developed. There will be two main contributions of this research. First of all, deriving the taxonomy of process flexibility from coordination theory will solve the problem of lacking a solid theoretical foundation in most current taxonomies of process flexibility. This research will be of theoretical significance for the study of business process flexibility. Second, in contrast to current mappings between process flexibility and process modeling technologies that only offer qualitative analysis, the proposed mapping model will provide a helpful quantitative reference to the developer and user of Business Process Management Systems in their system planning and decision-making. This will significantly impact the practice of Business Process Management.
为了探索业务流程柔性的本质以及各种业务流程建模技术的应用对流程柔性的作用,本课题拟对业务流程柔性与业务流程建模技术之间的互映射关系进行研究。研究将根据协调理论在业务流程管理环境下确立的相关性类型及其约束关系,推导业务流程柔性的本质特征和分类方法,建立业务流程柔性模型;基于模式思想,构建流程仿真场景;确定流程柔性测量因素,分别使用多种业务流程建模技术进行流程仿真实验;通过模糊综合评价法,分析仿真结果,建立流程柔性与流程建模技术的互映射模型。开发流程建模技术的柔性能力检测平台,探索模型的应用。该研究基于协调理论确定业务流程柔性的基本类型,解决了现有分类方法缺乏理论依据的根本问题,具有重要的理论意义;通过建立流程柔性与流程建模技术的互映射模型,突破了现有映射关系中缺少定量依据的局限性。对于业务流程管理系统的开发者及使用者,该模型可以成为他们在系统规划和决策过程中的重要参考,具有深远的现实意义。
为实现有效的业务流程管理,探索流程柔性的本质,本项目首先从复杂流程建模研究入手,揭示了基于协调理论的三种基本流程关系,以及不同关系的组合对流程的柔性及效率的影响。其次,通过选择知识密集型众包、基于众包的应急管理平台等应用背景,对多平台上的任务进行流程建模并分析相关动态流程管理的生命周期,通过时间、成本和效率三项影响因素作为指标,从而计算流程柔性。进而,本项目通过建立“基于灰色关联度模型的AHP-TOPSIS”评价算法,完成本项目的核心目标:业务流程柔性与建模技术的互映射模型。此外,本项目引入社会化业务流程管理概念,将社会网络应用于业务流程管理中,使得传统的静态流程动态化,从本质上提高流程柔性。并新增企业架构研究内容,通过梳理企业架构的价值与误区,阐明了企业架构对业务流程管理的影响和作用,明确了业务流程的灵活变更需要有合适的企业架构作为基础的观点,并阐述在不同目标架构下,如何实现柔性化的业务流程管理。基于上述研究,项目组目前共发表8篇学术论文,其中4篇SSCI/SCI期刊论文,并在科学出版社出版专著1部。该项目的研究成果丰富和扩展了业务流程管理领域的理论及应用研究,同时对业界的流程管理机制提供了有效的指导。
