Carrier Sense Multiple Access (CSMA) is widely used in distributed controlled wireless network, which is of simple deployment, simple implantation, the capable of utilization of free frequency band. However, its transmission capacity is limited and efficiency of frequency is low. The multiple packet reception (MPR) allows multiple users to transmit in the same time-frequency resource simutanenously, which can improve the capacity and efficiency of frequency significantly. . To improve the transmission capacity and the number of access users significantly, the proposed project aims to utilize structured Lattice codes, to study the theory and application of MPR transmission for CSMA. The main research contents include: (1) Build up the basic theory for structured Lattice coded MPR, obtain the upper bound for capacity; (2) Seek the high efficient encoding/decoding and detection algorithms for capacity approaching structured Lattice-coded MPR transmission; (3) the access control protocols and cross-layer design and optimization, as well as the pilot signal design and channel estimation; (4) Take the next generation WiFi (IEEE 802.11x) as the practical platform, improve its capacity significantly while maintain the basic CSMA manchnism.
载波侦听多址接入(CSMA)被广泛的应用于分布式控制的无线通信网络中,具有布置简单、易实现、可有效利用免费频段等特性,但其传输容量受限,频谱利用率低。然而,在同一时频资源上,多包传输允许多个用户接入传输,可成倍提高系统容量和频谱利用率。. 为了大幅度提升采用CSMA接入机制的无线通信网络传输容量和用户接入数量,本项目致力于利用结构化Lattice编码,研究CSMA接入多包传输理论与应用。主要研究内容为:(1)建立多包传输的结构化Lattice编码理论,获得容量上界;(2)探索逼近容量限的多包传输的结构化编码的编译码设计和检测算法设计;(3)MAC层接入控制协议设计及跨层优化,以及配套的导频设计、信道估计技术的研究;(4)针对下一代WiFi(IEEE802.11x系列标准)开展应用研究,在保持基本的CSMA接入机制不变的情况下,实现容量大幅提升。
本项目围绕基于编码的多包传输(多址接入)技术展开研究,获得了一系列创新性的成果。项目分析了基于Lattice的稀疏码多包传输系统的性能和容量;研究并给出了基于Lattice的稀疏码多包传输系统的码本设计方法,设计出了性能优异的可实用码字;研究了基于Lattice的稀疏码多包传输系统实际部署方案,包括:比特交织编码调制方案,协作通信方案,异构网络接入方案,D2D通信方案等,全双工传输方案等,并分析了带反馈的安全编码方案及其性能。对未来无线通信系统的设计具有重要的理论价值。项目主持人在受资助期间项目主持人马征获“天府万人计划之科技菁英”称号、四川省有突出贡献专家称号。利用本项目培养硕士研究生毕业10名,毕业博士3名。
