中国古代新星和超新星记录及其科学参数

China had maintained a unique treasury of astronomical records in ancient times. These records included those of novae and supernovae, which are extremely important for astrophysical study of supernovae. Astronomers from China and abroad have made use of these records to study supernovae and radio sources. Xi Zezong in 1957 published a catalogue of novae recorded in ancient China, which stimulated great interest in the international astronomical community. In recent years, with the development of new theories in astronomy, astronomers begin to pay more attention to ancient Chinese astronomical records. In this study we will conduct a new study of ancient Chinese records of novae and supernovae. We aim at three goals: 1) To make a more extended survey of historical records of novae and supernovae; 2) To examine the records more carefully to decide on the nature of these records; 3) To analyze the descriptions and data of these records so that to make a new catalogue of novae and supernovae with quantitative parameters.

我国古代十分注重天文观测，留下的天象记录是世界上独一无二的天文观测数据宝库。国内许多天文学家利用中国的记录做过超新星和射电源等方面的研究。席泽宗于1957年发表了《中国古新星新表》，在国际天文学界引起了强烈的反响。近年来，随着天文学各方面的进展和新观测、新理论的出现，天文学界对中国古代天象记录的兴趣有增无减。对中国古代天象记录进行系统的整理和定量化的分析非常必要，而且非常迫切，其对于现代天体物理学具有重要的科学应用价值。本项目将对中国古代新星和超新星记录进行新的整理。首先扩大文献检索围，使这些记录更加完备。其次对有关记录重新进行考证，确定其性质。最后记录的科学参数进行考证分析，使其定量化、数字化，做成一个参数比较完备可靠的中国古代新星超新星表。
