Theoretical and experimental research on several characteristics of partially coherent light is made in this project, which involves the rules of the change of focal length; focus spot size and focal depth. Innovations have been achieved in the research.Relative results have been reported in a total 21 papers, including two invited talk in SPIE conferences held in Santa Fe, US and Osaka, Japan, and one published in"Science of China". Three students have got their doctor's or master's degree in the work about the subject.Based on these results, the development of "Laser Beam Quality Controlling Apparatus" has been supported by the fund of Instrument Developing Project of Chinese Academy. This apparatus can be utilized in laser processing of large-scale workpieces (reach more than 10 meters). This kind of facility is exclusive in China even in the world.
本项目首次采用Wigner分布二阶动量传输规律研究部分相干光(指不同相干系数的基模、低阶模、高阶模及其叠加高斯光束,环状光束,超高斯光束以及它们不同程度的变形光束等)的聚焦特性,并实验验证。为解决超大超重工件飞行光学激光加工、大型激光工程空间滤波器及激光打靶、光盘刻录等重大应用课题的聚焦特性问题提供理论和实验依据。
