Artemisia halodondron,salix sammophila,Caragana spp. Clycyrrhiza uralensis, Ephedra spp.etc,are regarded as main plant group of sand-binding plants in Ningxia. The research was systematically conducteal on population occurrence and community 3 succession of insects on the sand-binding plants during 2000 and 2003.The project fulfilled survey of insect resources on the above five sand-binding plant,and identification 225 insect species, 133 families,12 orders,and 4 of them are new record species.The survey of insect resource on small moths, Tenebrionidae and insects of Caragama spp. Clycyrrhiza uralensis,Ephedra spp. was completed as well,and a vast amount of reliable data and information were collected. The project made an evaluation on population occurrence, commuity succession and beneficial insects control of nine dominant insects on the above five plants. Population component and community features of insect on the five sand-binding plantd was found out for the.first time. The research provides reliable scientific basis for integrated management of insects on sand-binding plants in Ningxia and western desert area.
沙漠化综合治理是宁夏“八五”以来一项重要任务。开发固沙植物昆虫的研究,对沙区生物多样性的保护利用提供十分重要依据。本项目在前人工作的基础上,针对腾格里、河东沙地二类沙区不同生态环境下固沙植物昆虫群落组成、优势种群发生及群落演替进行系统研究,提供种群动态信息、分布类型与群落演替特征和主要害虫预警模拟及综合调控技术。
