The objective of this project is to develop Chinese Strategy and Roadmap of Nanotechnology and Nanomanufacturing through literature survey, statistical model development and international collaboration. With the aim of catalyzing the progress in the emerging field of nanotechnology and nanomanufacturing, the project will focus on supervision of the four key projects, facilitate interactions between local and international scientists through various dialogues and international collaborations. By developing greater insights into the state-of-the-art, the project will identify the main challenges and promising future new industry of nanotechnology and nanomanufacturing in China. Through the well-developed roadmap, the project will not only help to speed up scientific research, innovation and technological development in nanotechnology and nanomanufacturing, but also provide a critical thrust in growing, upgrading and transforming many traditional industrial sectors to greatly improve the global competitiveness and capability of the Chinese economy.
纳米科技与生物技术、信息技术被认为是本世纪的三大前沿科技领域。纳米制造技术不仅渗透于此三大领域,而且是将纳米科学的研究发现转化为国济民生应用的支撑条件和前提。本项目拟在重大研究计划的框架内,以国内纳米制造领域指导专家组领衔,对集成项目的实施进行督导,对研究内容与制造方法进行升华;与国内和国际顶尖学者和产业界专家合作,对我国纳米制造技术研究现状、发展需求、产业化等诸多领域的发展趋势进行多学科的评估和预测,形成具有国际视野和影响力、切合国情和国家科技发展重大需求的纳米制造技术发展蓝图。
