Three distinctive AFLP sequences of Porphyra haitanenesis were cloned and sequenced. According to the sequences of two among three, the routine primers of PCR which could be used in the identification of germ plasm were designed .One patent of pure line development was proclaimed and five pure lines of Porphyra haitanenesis have been developed by using the means. Four among the five pure lines with excellently economic character have a good prospect of cultivation.
