Because 2D/3D switchable display is compatible with normal 2D display and the naked-eye 3D display and makes comfortable switching between two important displays, it gains much attention. In allusion to the expensive device of realizing 2D/3D switchable display and much luminance waste of the 2D/3D switchable display in the 3D display mode, this project will develop a tunable liquid lenticular lens array of high transmittance for the light splitting and 2D/3D switching component of 2D/3D switchable display. From its designed structure,it can almost overcome primary gravity effect and has large aperture ratio. This project will firstly study form mechanism of the liquid lenticular lens array, and establish the mathematical relationship between deforming value of membrane in the lens array and relevant parameters. Moreover, the project will study the light splitting performance of the lens array, and establish the method of reducing 3D display crosstalk through optimizing specific aberrations of the lens array. Finally, the project will develop and estimate the lens array for 2D/3D switchable display, and will promote the light splitting performance of the lens array and the quality of 3D image. Our research will provide a helpful reference for the applied basic research in 2D/3D switchable display in our country.
2D/3D可切换显示由于兼容普通2D显示和裸眼3D显示,并能方便地实现两种重要显示模式的切换而备受关注。针对现有2D/3D可切换显示器件成本高以及3D显示时串扰较大和亮度损失较多等问题,本项目将研制一种高透过率的可调液体柱透镜阵列,该阵列将用作2D/3D可切换显示器的3D显示的分光和2D/3D显示的切换部件。从结构上看,它基本能克服重力效应且具有较大开口率。本项目拟进行:一、研究该液体柱透镜阵列的形态机制,建立该阵列的膜面形变量与相关参量的数理关系;二、研究该液体柱透镜阵列的分光性能,建立通过优化液体柱透镜的特定像差来减小3D显示串扰的方法;三、研制和评估用于2D/3D切换显示的可调液体柱透镜阵列,提升其分光性能并改善3D图像质量。本项目的研究为我国在该领域的应用基础研究提供有益的参考。
