As a new mass spectrometric technology, matrix assisted laser desorption / ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) still possesses some imperfections such as different matrix and sample preparation methods used for different kinds of compounds, unhomogeneous sample distribution and unstable signal when sample prepared using the solid matrix. In this project the effectiveness of matrix in MALDI-MS was studied; Some liquid matrices used for particular compound or with good versatility were exploited and applied for the characterization of different kinds of compounds; New qualitative and quantitative methods using liquid matrix were established; Mechanism in MALDI-MS with liquid matrix was explored, and the different features when liquid matrix used in time of flight and fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometers were compared.
研究基质辅助光解吸电离质谱的基质效应,开发出具有我国独立知识产权的新型液相基质体系,用于从小分子到生物大分子的质谱分析,建立基于此液相基质体系的质谱分析新方法,探讨此基质条件下激光解吸电离质谱分析的机理,进一步发展和完善基质辅助激光解吸电离质谱分析技术。
