The mechanism of Acupuncture is not still clarified now. The object of this project is to demonstrate the relationship between Acupuncture and "Gastric meridian-Gastriintestinal peptide-immunol net" and investigate the effects of acupuncture the special acupoint and meridian on special brain-intestinal peptide, cytokine, gastric-intestinal immunity, cell immunity, T lymphatic cell subgroup and neuro nuclear of CNS and detect the relationship between the Acupuncture and gastrointestinal electricity, blood flow, gastric emptying, secretion, mucosal protection and the change of cell supermicrostructure. The new adjunctive themry of "Gastric meridian-Gastriintestinal peptide-immunol net" is suggested and demonstrated in our results of this research. We found that the new adjunctive themry was important in the mechanism of Acupuncture controlling the gastrointestinal function. The traditional nerve and hormone mechanism of Acupuncture was broken through and enriched. The blank in the research field was filled up. The new theory basis was found to disclose the mystery of Acupuncture. The reliable theory basis was afforded for treating the gastrointestinal disease. 24 articles were published on the source journal. 5 articles were written in English. 5 articles were included by SCI. 15 articles were included by other digests. All the articles were cited by 56 times. 21 articles were communicated. The results of the research were highly praised in the academic circles and reported by 5 kinds of paper. The special journal of the research was published in journal of FMMU. 7 postgraduates were cultured.

采用现代新理论和新技术,研究尚未被阐明的针刺对经络-胃肠肽-免疫网络的调控机理及相互内在联系,探索它们如何参与针刺对胃肠动力、分泌、血流、粘膜保护等功能的调控,论证经络存在的客观证据并筛选特异穴位。这对深入阐明针刺原理指导治疗提供新的实验资料和理论依据。此独具中西医结合特色,对拓宽针刺研究领域及推动学科发展有重要意义。
