Lirianthe Spach s. l. is a group of resource woody plants with a high practical utility value, and has had application in all kinds of perfume products, gardens and landscapes in China. As one of the biggest genus in Magnoliaceae, it is always the most controversial taxon in classification and species treatment of the Magnoliaceae from China and its taxonomic researches are more difficult. It is necessary to carry on its Chinese taxonomic revision to resolve the divarication in its classification and to lay a foundation stone for its practical application and to resolve its phylogenetic problem further and better. This project is the expansion of the last two projects, Systematic Studies on the Genus Michelia from China and Taxonomic Revision of the Genus Michelia Linn.(Magnoliaceae), from a genus to another one in the same family. Based on the more observations of morphological characters of plants, especially living plants, and anatomical characters and the analysis of the leaf volatile chemical composition and the cpDNA complete sequences in the genus Lirianthe spach s. l. from China, this project will use the research achievements from the above and other allied disciplines to deal with the taxonomic significance of the characters and the phylogenetic relationships and positions within Lirianthe spach s. l., and to reconstruct taxonomic system of the genus Lirianthe spach. And the project will make textual researches on the original literatures and typical specimens, use the method of morphology- geography to determine and present correct scientific names and keys of the genus, and give a theoretical basis and some scientific instruction for the discussion and studies of the other disciplines of the genus and for the effective conservation and sustainable utilization of its resources in the future.
广义喙木兰属是一类实际利用价值极高的木本资源植物,在国内已广泛应用于香品业和园林,但作为木兰科的大属之一,其分类研究比较困难,一直是国产木兰科中分类和种系处理争议最多的类群,需要进行必要的分类学修订,以解决其分类分歧,为实际应用和进一步解决系统发育问题奠定坚实的基础。本项目是前二项目“中国木兰科含笑属植物的系统分类学研究”和“世界木兰科含笑属的分类学修订”在科内的扩展和延伸,拟在对国产广义喙木兰属形态学(尤其活植物)、解剖学、叶挥发物化学成分组成等特征数据的进一步完善以及对cpDNA全序列测定的的基础上,广泛吸纳各学科的研究成果,综合探讨各类性状的分类学意义以及各分类群间的系统发育关系和位置,重建喙木兰属属内分类系统;再在原始文献和模式标本考证的基础上,采用形态地理学方法,确定并给出各分类等级的正确学名和检索表,为该属其它学科的问题探讨和研究以及资源的保护和利用提供理论基础和科学指导。
广义喙木兰属是一类实际利用价值极高的木本资源植物,在国内已广泛应用于香品业和园林,但作为木兰科的大属之一,其分类研究比较困难,一直是国产木兰科中分类和种系处理争议最多的类群,需要进行必要的分类学修订,以解决其分类分歧,为实际应用和进一步解决系统发育问题奠定坚实的基础。本项目通过对广义喙木兰属形态学、解剖学、叶挥发物化学成分组成等特征数据的收集和分析评价以及基于叶绿体全基因组序列的系统发育分析,从79个形态学性状中筛选出具有一定的稳定性以及演化和分布规律而具有不同等级的系统分类学价值的分类性状,进一步确定了广义喙木兰属更合理的范围和位置,归并了盖裂木属南洋盖裂木组(Talauma sect. Blumiana Blume),重新构建并提出了一个将广义喙木兰属分为2组的属内新分类系统。利用该属内新系统,以“模式”和“居群”概念相统一的思想为指导,在原始文献和模式标本考证的基础上,采用形态地理学方法,对国产广义喙木兰属植物进行了系统的分类学修订,共鉴别出了12种,确定并给出了各分类等级的正确学名,并编制了一个可供鉴别国产广义喙木兰属植物并尽可能体现各类群间演化关系的分类检索表。发现了2新种和1中国新记录种,恢复了2个种,做了4个新组合,归并了15个晚出异名,承认了2个新种。这些为广义喙木兰属其它学科的问题探讨和研究以及资源的保护和利用提供了理论基础和科学指导。
