1、建立了组织特异性的人EST子序列库及总人EST序列库；2、对上述数据去冗余，去载体；3、进行EST序列组装，得到连接和单一的片段；4、与核酸，蛋白数据库作用原性比较，筛选出新基因候选序列；5、应用神经网络和遗传算法进行启动子、外显子预测，并构建基因结构预测模型；6、开发了相应的序列分析软件。
