Phosphorescent materials of transition metals have been investigated extensively for their potential applications in organic light-emitting device (OLED).Currently, most of the studies on the transition phosphorescent materials have focused mainly on the noble metals such as Os, Ir and Pt. The thermal activated delayed fluorescent materials of Cu(I) complexes have also been paid much attentions. However, phosphorescent mononuclear silver complexes or binuclear complexes without "closed shell (d10-d10) interactions" had rarely been reported until recently. Recently, we have synthesized several series of silver emissive complexes, and some of them with quantum yields over 95%.These complexes are very promising for application in the OLED. The studies of silver electroluminescent materials are just beginning. There are many interesting projects waiting to be investigated. In this project, we propose to synthesize rationally a few series of new silver electroluminescent materials, investigate systematically their emissive mechanism, and use them as emissive layers or emissive dopants in the fabrication of new OLEDs. Through this project, we will explore systematically and thoroughly the rational designing, the preparations, the emissive properties and their use in OLED of the silver complexes, apply two to three patents, and publish 5-8 papers.
锇、铱、铂和铜等过渡金属发光材料在电致发光器件(OLED)中的潜在应用而引起广泛关注。然而银的电致发光材料却少见报道。最近,我们在研究含铜电致发光材料的过程中发现了多个系列具有热延迟荧光性质的含银发光化合物,其中有些化合物具有非常高效的光致发光和电致发光,展现了它们在高效电致发光器件中的应用前景。本项目将针对金属银的化学特性,参考文献报道的性能较好的含铜热延迟荧光材料的分子结构,设计合成新的含银热延迟荧光材料,同时通过配体的调控来合成具有不同结构的含银化合物,研究发光材料的构效关系,并系统深入地研究化合物的发光机理、探索它们在电致发光器件中的应用。通过本项目的实施有望在该课题方向上进行较深入和系统的研究,形成自己的研究特色,拓宽高效电致发光材料的研究领域,为相关研究提供新思路和依据,发表5-8篇学术论文,申请专利2-3项
本项目围绕新颖Ag(I)热延迟荧光材料的设计合成、性能及器件展开系统研究,通过分子设计和结构调控合成具有优越发光性能的含银配位化合物,系统地研究化合物配体的空间结构和电子结构等对产物的分子结构、电子结构和性能的影响,总结含银电致发光材料的组成、结构和性能的内在关系。经过四年的研究探索,顺利地完成了项目预期目标及各项任务。在进行Ag(I)发光材料研究的基础上,围绕具有热活化延迟荧光(TADF)特性的材料,将该类TADF材料的开发设计拓展至Cu(I)配合物、有机小分子等,成功获得了几例性能优异的发光材料并应用于OLED器件。项目研究期间共发表有该基金资助号的学术期刊论文16篇,学术专著1章,培养硕士生3名。
