Rice leaffolder is one of the main pests during rice production. To control the pest, many measures have been taken, such as chemical insecticide, but they took lots of labor and financial resources, and furthermore, destroyed ecological environment. The food security problem and the pollution caused in rice production will be eased if the genes which resistant to leaffolder be found in rice or its' wild relatives; and the resistance rice varieties be bred. Our previous study result shows that Oryza longistaminata resistant to rice leaffolder. F2 and RILs Population derived from O. longistaminata cross will be used as research material to evaluate the resistant phenotype under the field and inoculation condition. And genotyping for the populations will be carried using RAD-seq (Restriction-site associated DNA sequencing) technology. Finally, the QTLs mapping for the leaffolder resistance will be completed. The insect-resistance materials and resistance genes will be provided as the result. The results is also very important to ease the food security and help the theoretical research on rice insect resistance. And the greatest significance of this study is to answer the scientific question that whether the leaffolder resistance genes exist in rice or its' wild relatives gene pool.
稻纵卷叶螟是危害水稻生产的主要害虫之一。传统的防治办法不仅浪费人力、财力,还严重破坏生态环境。如果能在水稻及其野生近缘种中找到纵卷叶螟抗性基因并培育成抗虫品种,不仅可以缓解粮食安全问题,而且可以减轻水稻生产过程对环境的污染。申请人前期研究初步证明长雄野生稻具有稻纵卷叶螟抗性。本研究利用已经培育好的RD23/长雄野生稻重组自交系群体和F2群体为研究材料,对田间自然诱发和人工接虫条件下稻纵卷叶螟抗性表型进行鉴定,利用RAD-seq技术对群体进行基因型分析,进而完成稻纵卷叶螟分子定位研究。研究结果不仅可以明确长雄野生稻稻纵卷叶螟抗性的遗传规律,可以直接为水稻稻纵卷叶螟抗性的遗传改良提供中间材料和基因,同时对抗虫理论研究及确保粮食安全都具有十分重要的意义,更为重要的是证明水稻及其野生近缘种是否存在稻纵卷叶螟抗性基因这一科学问题。
