This project will focus on the newly identified eclogite, which have a protolith age of 1.9 Ga, and its host gneiss in Chachahe area, North Qaidam ultrahigh pressure metamorphic belt. By the means of advanced phase equilibria modelling, using the latest internally consistent thermodynamic dataset, mineral composition-activity models and Thermocalc software, a series of P-T, P-X and T-X pseudosections in the system MnNCKFMASHO will be calculated for the Chachahe eclogite. In combination with petrographic observation, mineral compositional zonations and the calculated mineral composition and modal isopleths in the pseudosections, the precise metamorphic P-T path for the Chachahe eclogite will be obtained. In addition, various analysis methods and dating techniques will be used to determine the geochemical characteristics and get the precise protolith age and multi-stage metamorphic ages of the Chachahe eclogite and its host gneiss. Finally, the formation mechanism of the Chachahe eclogite and its relationship with other eclogites in Dulan terrane will be illustrated, which will provide significant constraints on the early tectonic framework and evolution history of the North Qaidam ultrahigh pressure metamorphic belt.
本项目以申请者前期在柴北缘查查河地区新发现的一种原岩年龄为1.9Ga的榴辉岩及其围岩为重点研究对象,采用国际流行的相平衡计算方法,使用最新的内恰一致性热力学数据库、矿物成分-活度模型和Thermocalc程序,对查查河榴辉岩进行MnNCKFMASHO体系下的P-T、P-X、T-X等视剖面图计算,依据矿物成分、矿物含量等值线,并对比矿物成分环带和包裹体特征,建立查查河榴辉岩精细的P-T轨迹;利用多种分析测试方法和定年手段,确定榴辉岩及围岩片麻岩的地球化学属性和形成的构造背景,准确获取原岩形成时代和多期次变质时代。为探讨查查河榴辉岩的成因机制及与区内其他类型榴辉岩之间的关系,以及进一步探讨柴北缘超高压带早期构造格局和演化过程提供重要约束。
本项目以柴北缘查查河地区的榴辉岩和围岩片麻岩为重点研究对象,柴北缘其他地区的高压-超高压变质岩石及岩浆岩为对比研究对象,开展了详细的野外地质调查、岩石学、地球化学、变质作用和相平衡计算及同位素年代学研究,取得了以下主要成果:(1)在查查河地区发现多种类型的榴辉岩,部分榴辉岩记录了古元古代1.92 Ga和早古生代~450 Ma两期变质作用,其中早古生代变质作用的峰期变质条件为25.5 kbar,690°C,之后经历了近等温降压的退变质过程;(2)在柴北缘鱼卡地区榴辉岩和围岩片麻岩中识别出新元古代929~912 Ma角闪岩相和早古生代451~430 Ma超高压榴辉岩相两期变质作用,提出这些榴辉岩及围岩片麻岩记录了新元古代Rodinia超大陆聚合和早古生代大陆深俯冲两期造山旋回,并据此初步建立了柴北缘超高压带从中元古代晚期到早古生代的构造演化模型;(3)在柴达木山地区发现~425 Ma双峰式岩浆作用,确定其为俯冲板片断离的岩浆响应,为柴北缘超高压带早古生代构造演化提供了进一步约束。相关研究成果已发表SCI论文5篇,评审中SCI论文2篇,国内核心期刊1篇,完成博士后出站报告2篇,参加国内外学术会议6人次,完成了预期的研究计划和设计目标。
