The lower Paleozoic carbonate rock strata, aimed at as main study objects outcropping extensively in Xuzhou area, the subjects intercrossed and the theories combined of sedimentology, geochemistry and environment science, the analyses took as the point of departure of lithology, lithofacies and trace element depositional geochemical behaviors, the regulationas of stratigraphic distribution, facies distribution, febric occurrence, lithologic occurrence were found out of the main ecological trace elements, such as Cd, Pb, Cr, Zn, Se, As, Hg, F, S and rare earth elements, in the carbonate rock strata, and it was established that the depositional model of lime barrier in epicontinental sea and the facies model of the hazardous distribution. Moreover, the ecological geochemical actions were researched of the hazardous elements in the processes of water-rock action, pedogenesis and calcinations, and the methods were explored and preliminarily set up of primary environment assessments and lowly polluting cement limestone evaluation in areas where canbonate rocks develop well. The above researches open up a new field of environmental geology.
以徐州地区下古生界为例,从环境地质学的角度综合应用沉积学、环境地球化学和数理统计学等的理论、方法和手段,查明碳酸盐岩地层中有害元素的分配、地层分布、相分布、结构赋存、矿物赋存规律,建立碳酸盐岩地层有害元素分布相模式。研究炭酸盐岩有害元素的环境地球化学行为。探索建立原生环境碳酸盐岩和水泥石灰岩的环境质量评价预测方法。
