The purpose of this study is to explore the effect and mechanism of underground fluid on the process of earthquake nucleation and occurrence by associating the fluid migration with the law of fault nucleation-failure process. Using several statistical methods, the signal of influence on the fault and earthquake induced by the underground fluid is determined. Based on the field investigation and simulations, the physical mechanism of earthquake swarm caused by fluid migration is investigated with the comparisons between the temporal and spatial patterns of earthquake swarms in Yunnan and diffusion characteristics of fluid activation. This work makes significant efforts to explore the mechanism of fluids and earthquakes, which will be helpful to investigate the possible precursor and earthquake mechanism in Yunnan.
本项目从流体作用与地震的孕育成核及失稳发震内在规律相结合的角度,研究地下流体在地震孕育发生过程中的力学作用和动力机制。首先借助于多种统计参数的综合分析,获取断层与地下流体相互作用的信号,并结合野外调查和模拟研究,分析云南地震丛集的时空分布特征与流体活动特性, 探索地下流体引起的地震丛集现象的物理实质,检验地下流体迁移及应力状态的演化是否控制了云南地震丛集现象,以及地下流体在孕震过程中的力学作用和相关现象间的因果关系。本研究对于揭示地下流体与地震相关现象背后的物理实质具有积极的作用,有助于研究云南地区的孕震机理及可能的前兆特征。
