国际中微子暑期学校

The International Neutrino Summer School (INSS) is jointly organized by the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Fermilab. It will be held in Beijing, from 6 August to 16 August, 2013. We have invited 10 internationally distinguished lecturers to teach neutrino physics and relevant topics for about 100 students (about 50 from abroad). The organization of the school is going on well. The 10 lecturers have confirmed their coming and teaching. The school poster is in press, and the website is being built. Following the trandition of the INSS series, we are going to support the invited lecturers for their local expenses, lecture fees and travel costs, and the students for their boarding costs.

国际中微子暑期学校由中科院高能所主办，美国费米实验室协办，地点为北京市郊顺鑫绿色度假村，时间为2013年8月6日至16日，会期共计12天。学校邀请10位国际知名中微子物理学专家作主讲人，为100名左右的研究生与博士后（预计其中半数来自国外）讲授中微子的基本性质、中微子振荡唯象学、中微子模型构造、各类中微子实验的现状和前景、探测中微子的技术、中微子天文学与宇宙学等课程。目前会议的筹备工作正在顺利进行中，组委会和国际顾问委员会已经形成，10位主讲教师均已确认接受邀请，课程的内容也已确定，暑期学校海报已经印刷完毕，注册网址已经开通。该中微子暑期学校属于国际系列之一，首次在中国举办，按照国际惯例安排，支付所有主讲人的当地费用、讲课费和国际机票，负责学员的三餐费用等。

在本项目的资助下，中国科学院高能物理研究所和美国费米实验室于2013年8月6日至16日在北京顺鑫绿色度假村成功举办了国际中微子暑期学校。本次暑期学校有选择地为亚太区域和国际相关中微子实验和理论研究培训青年人才，共接纳了国内外学员89名（53名来自大陆、2名来自港台、34名来自国外），其中女性学员18名。10位国际著名或知名学者担任暑期学校的讲师，共进行了10个专题、29次、43.5小时的授课，以及每天2小时的团队辅导和分组讨论，学员们受益良多。
