The East Kunlun Orogen locating in the north of the Tibetan Plateau has a long history of tectonic evolution. Previous studies have well constrained on the Meso- to Neoproterozoic collisional event, the late Paleozoic-Mesozoic subductional event and the Cenozoic uplifting process. While, the early Paleozoic-Devonian tectonic setting is still in controversial. Some people think the East Kunlun Orogen was in post-collisional extensional setting, while the others hold the idea of the subdduction-collisional setting. Thus, the metamorphic rocks, especially the garnet-amphibolite, granulite and garnet-bearing gneiss in Wulonggou area, east part of the East Kunlun Orogen, are employed in this study. Their petrological, petrographic, mineralogical researches and phase modeling will be conducted to reveal the peak metamorphic P-T conditions after the detailed geological mapping. Together with the geochronological studies, the P-T-t paths of the garnet-amphibolite, granulite and garnet-bearing gneiss will also be estimated. Integrated with previous studies of the magmatic and metamorphic rocks, the early Paleozoic-Devonian metamorphic history and tectonic setting of the East Kunlun Orogen will be discussed.
位处青藏高原北部的东昆仑造山带,经历了长期的地质演化过程,已有研究对其中-新元古代的聚合事件、晚古生代-中生代的俯冲造山事件以及新生代的隆升过程进行了很好的限定,然而对于其早古生代-泥盆纪的构造格局,目前仍存在着不同的认识,具体表现为后碰撞伸展及俯冲-碰撞两种观点。据此争议,本研究拟以东昆仑造山带东段五龙沟地区的变质岩类为研究对象,以区内的榴闪岩、麻粒岩及含榴片麻岩为研究重点,以详细的野外地质为研究基础;通过岩石学、岩相学、矿物地球化学分析及变质相平衡模拟,确定并对比不同岩石类型的峰期变质P-T条件;结合同位素年代学研究,构建榴闪岩、麻粒岩及含榴片麻岩的P-T-t演化轨迹;进一步对比区内岩浆岩及变质岩等其他研究成果,深入探讨东昆仑造山带早古生代-泥盆纪变质演化历史及大地构造格局。
东昆仑地区广泛发育的前寒武纪变质岩系记录了造山带长期复杂的构造演化过程,本次研究对造山带中-东段的高级变质岩类开展了一系列的研究工作。通过野外地质调研,在基底岩系中识别出多套含石榴子石的副片麻岩类,确定五龙沟榴闪岩类(榴辉岩)与蛇纹石化橄榄岩、清水泉麻粒岩呈构造透镜体于基底岩系副片麻岩之中,五龙沟麻粒岩则与基底岩系片麻岩呈互层状。岩石学研究显示,五龙沟榴闪岩类(榴辉岩)、麻粒岩包含了包裹体组合、峰期组合及峰后退变质组合三期共生矿物组合;清水泉单斜辉石麻粒岩及二辉麻粒岩主要由包裹体组合及基质组合组成,二辉麻粒岩中的斜方辉石发育平行的单斜辉石出熔体;含榴副片麻岩类岩石类型多样,总体包含了以石榴子石中包裹体矿物为主的进变质矿物组合及峰期变质矿物组合。Perple_x相图模拟及温压计算结果初步显示清水泉麻粒岩的峰期变质温压分别为800-850℃,7.0-8.5 kbar;五龙沟麻粒岩峰期变质温度为850-900℃,压力为8.0-9.0 kbar;而含榴副片麻岩类的峰期变质温压变化于600-750℃、5.5-7.5 kbar之间。LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年代学结果显示五龙沟榴闪岩类(榴辉岩)峰期变质时代为485-482 Ma,角闪岩相退变质的时代为ca. 450 Ma;清水泉麻粒岩原岩的时代为507 Ma,峰期变质时代为ca.460 Ma;五龙沟麻粒岩原岩时代为ca. 1.0 Ga,峰期变质时代为410 Ma;片麻岩类峰期变质时代为ca.420-405 Ma。结合锆石Hf同位素、蛇纹岩地球化学等研究,以及区域地质背景资料,初步认为五龙沟榴闪岩类(榴辉岩)、清水泉麻粒岩为原特提斯洋洋壳俯冲-折返的产物,五龙沟麻粒岩是新元古代的基性岩墙经历了古生代下地壳加厚事件的产物,东昆仑造山带基底岩系普遍经历了古生代时期原特提斯洋洋壳俯冲所导致的地壳加厚事件。
