Evaluated nuclear data is the basic data of the neutronics calculation. Its reliability and accuracy affect the design of nuclear engineering directly. Benchmark experiment is an important means to validate the accuracy of the evaluated nuclear data. In order to solve the urgent problems of nuclear power and environmental pollution caused by the nuclear power industry, some new type of nuclear systems, such as Thorium-based Molten Salt Reactor (TMSR) and Accelerator Driven sub-critical System (ADS), had been put forward in the world presently. Compared to the traditional nuclear reactor, their working principles and structure designs are different. The accuracy of the evaluated data of the core materials in these systems, such as 232Th and 238U, is extremely important. The purpose of this study is to validate the evaluated data of 232Th and 238U, using the benchmarking experimental system with large slab sample at the China Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE). This work will provide experimental data to support the establishment of the database related to fuel proliferation and waste transmutation.
评价中子核数据是中子学计算的基础数据,它的可靠性和精准度直接影响核工程设计中子学计算结果的质量。宏观基准检验是检验核数据可靠性的重要手段。为了解决目前急需的核电能源问题和核电工业对环境造成的污染问题,国际上先后提出了钍基熔盐堆(TMSR)和加速器驱动次临界系统(ADS)。这些新型核能系统和传统核反应堆相比,其工作原理和结构设计有较大区别。232Th和238U作为这两大核能系统中的核心材料,其评价核数据的精准度极其重要。本研究的目的是基于中国原子能科学研究院目前研制的一套大体积板状样品宏观基准检验实验系统,开展ThO2样品和238U样品的宏观基准检验研究,为建立相对完善的核燃料增殖与嬗变相关数据库提供实验数据支持。
