Attractive appearance, novel functions and joyful interaction are the most important design features which affect the user experience of consumer products. Due to the huge gap of the three design features between domestic and overseas products, the poor features have become key constraints of improvement in experience level and competitiveness of domestic products. Users’ involvement in concept design process has a great impact on the final user experience of products. However, expression methods of product concept, which support good communication between designers and users, are still lacking. Taking automobile products as research object, the main line of this research is modeling of product concept generation process, the aim is improvement of three key design features - attractive appearance, novel functions and joyful interaction, and the breakthrough point is researches on sensory experience information structure of product concept form. With System Dynamics modeling and simulation of growth process of product concept form and joint tests of user’s physiological-psychological experience, this research studies characteristics of spatiotemporal distribution and evolution of sensory experience information systematically, explores influence rules of spatiotemporal coupling of multi-modal design elements on synthesis of sensory experience and investigates self-adaption adjustment mechanism of sensory experience information structure. Finally it puts forward a set of multi-sensory co-modeling technology of product concept, which supports experience design, and a set of Multi-view decomposition algorithm and multisensory co-expression method, in order to provide theoretical support and enabling technologies for improving user experience and innovation design level of consumer goods in China.
造型美观、功能新颖、交互愉悦是影响消费品用户体验最关键的三项设计特性。由于与国外产品差距太大,这三项设计特性已成为制约我国消费品体验水平和竞争力提升的关键要素。用户参与概念设计过程的深度对产品最终用户体验影响很大,但目前仍缺乏一套支持设计师与用户良好沟通的产品概念表达方法。本项目以汽车产品为研究对象,以产品概念生成过程建模为主线,以综合提高造型美观、功能新颖、交互愉悦三项关键设计特性水平为目标,以产品概念形态的感官体验信息结构研究为切入点,以产品概念形态生长过程系统动力学建模与仿真、用户生理-心理体验联合测试为手段,系统研究感官体验信息的时空分布与生长演化特性,探索多模态设计元素时空耦合对感官体验合成的影响规律及感官体验信息结构自适应调控机制,提出一套支持体验设计的产品概念多感官协同建模技术、多视图分解算法与多感官协同表达方法,为提高我国消费品用户体验与创新设计水平提供理论和使能技术支撑。
产品概念设计作为产品开发过程中极其重要且最具有创造性的阶段,用户参与概念设计过程的深度对消费品最终用户体验影响巨大。针对现有产品概念创新过程中设计表达手段单一、与用户体验有关的设计信息缺乏有效整合、用户参与概念创新深度不足等问题,本项目围绕产品概念形态感官体验信息结构生长演化模型、多模态设计元素时空耦合与体验合成机理、产品创新概念多感官协同表达方法等展开研究,取得了以下研究成果:(1)提出了一种基于语义网络可拓可计算的产品概念形态表征模型和信息量测度方法,构建了一种可表征产品创新过程中与用户体验关联的产品特征信息生长演化的可拓生长过程模型;(2)建立了融合情境的产品多感官用户体验生成过程模型,形成了产品概念设计各阶段创新概念表达方法选型与感官信息结构调控知识库;(3)提出了面向设计情境的产品概念感官体验信息结构调控方法,建立了产品概念的多模态表达机制与多感官协同编排原则,形成了一套多模态用户体验情境的生成和产品概念多感官协同表达方法。(4)开发了产品概念形态样本库管理系统和情境交互驱动的产品概念形态建模系统,并以智能网联汽车和扫地机器人的概念设计过程为原型进行了初步应用验证。项目执行期间,累计发表学术论文9篇,其中SCI/EI收录7篇,参与各类学术交流16人次,授权发明专利1项,申请发明专利1项,取得软件著作权3项,培养硕士研究生4名。.总体来说,本项目完成了规定的研究内容,达到了预期目标,不仅丰富和发展了产品概念设计多感官协同表达理论与方法,也对提高我国消费产品用户体验与创新设计水平产生了积极的推动作用。
