The project studies pathways towards tourism destination solid waste "zero-emission" with applying materials flow analysis. Jiuzhaigou world heritage and Huawurenjian low caron park will be research sites. Environmental impacts of tourism destination solid waste and its' management challenges are getting more and more attentation. China studies and practices in this field still needs further exploration, in particular the data and charcteristic investigation of solid waste based on longterm survey and lab analysis, as well as the solid waste management and treatment optimization study based on data and empirical studies. With 1 year data and sampling of two research sites, the project will conduct quatitative analysis of tourism destinations solid waste flows (direction and volume). The classifications, propportion, organic elements and heavy metals of solid waste will be analyzed. The material transition efficiency and emission of solid waste material flows will also be calculated. The results will provide quantitve support in order to optimize solid waste management and treatment in tourism destinations to achieve 'zero-emission'.The project will establish tourism destination solid waste material flow analysis model with Umberto software and data from field invetigation and lab. The pathways towards 'zero-emission'in tourism destinations will be discussed and reviewed according to solid waste material flow models and local conditions.
本课题将基于物质流分析方法,以四川省九寨沟世界遗产地和花舞人间低碳景区为案例点开展旅游地固体废弃物'零排放'路径研究。旅游地固体废弃物的环境影响与管理挑战受到越来越多的关注,我国在这个领域的研究与实践仍有待深入,尤其是基于长期观察和实验分析的基础数据积累和特征研究,以及基于数据和实证的管理和治理优化。本课题选择九寨沟和花舞人间两个不同类型的旅游地,开展为期1年的数据观察和采样,调查分析该系统中固体废弃物的流向与流量,以及固体废弃物的组分、比例、有机元素和重金属等特征,展开全流程物质转换效率和排放分析,为旅游地固体废弃物的"零排放"优化调整提供基础性的定量分析结果。课题将根据调查和实验数据基于Umberto软件建立固体废弃物物质流分析模型,根据分析结果和旅游地资源特点探讨旅游地固体废弃物"零排放"的路径及影响。
