All specifications of this project have been fulfilled. Extracted proton beam from ECR.ion source is 50 mA, proton ratio is greater than 80% and its rms emittance is less.than 0.2πmm mrad. The essential equipment such as microwave power supply,.induced magnetic coil and ionization chamber has been built in past four years. The.match between ridged waveguide and ionization chamber, efficiency and the proton.ratio of the source has been improved. The extraction configuration is optimized. An.emittance unit is developed. The experiment of the effect of magnetic induced field,.gas consumption and forward microwave power on extracted ion current has been.carried out. Also a 120 hours run for testing the beam availability is performed. In this.project, the physics design, technical design and engineering design of a high current.RFQ is finished. The concept design and technical design of a 150MeV and 1GeV.high current linac are finished. Also some possible acceleration structures are.explored and investigation of high current ion beam physics is performed.
中能强流质子在核能开发,中子源,核技术应用及核物理研究具有十分重大的意义。本课题将以加速器驱动洁净核能系统重大项目为背景开展其前端部分重点技术研究。包括研制一台强流微波电子回旋共振质子源,开展强流质子束的强度和发射度的测量技术研究,强流射频四极加速器关键技术研究和强流质子直线加速器的加速结构和整体布局的研究。
