On the basis of the requirment of high power (20 MW level) and high torque density (beyond 17kNm/t)direct-drive motor for large ship Intergrated Full Electric Propulsion (IFEP) system, a large 15-phase permanent magnet (PM) brushless machine is proposed and optimized by adopting the Third Harmonic Injection - Shaping (THIS) and Extra Framework of Stator(EFS) topologies,together with the aid of the analysis of the electromagnetic properties of several magnetic materials,including NdFeB and silicon-iron lamination.It is noted that some key issues have been solved which could lead the development of such high power and torque density motor to be extremely complicate. Consequently, the design process and proposed novel topologies which applied in this project can be treated as "state-of-art", since they are not only suitable for design high power level IFEP system, but also applicable for other market-sectors.
针对大型舰船综合全电力推进系统对推进电机大容量高转矩密度(20兆瓦级转矩密度17kNm/t)的要求,通过使用三次谐波注削法和框架式定子结构,并结合对多种磁性材料的电磁特性研究后,实现大容量高转矩密度十五相永磁无刷电机的优化设计。该项目的研究解决了大容量高转矩密度电机设计中的固有问题,并通过提出了包括三次谐波注削法和框架式定子结构等创新思想,为此类型电机的研制提供了优化设计理论和方法。不仅可以满足舰船综合全电力推进等高端领域的迫切需要,还可以进一步推广到其他各功率等级的电机设计中去,因此具有重要的科学意义和实用价值.
