Real-time systems are commenly used in time-critical systems, and the primary principle of a real-time system is to ensure that the worst-case response time of a task is always less than its deadline. With the development of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT) and the related emerging techniques, an increasing number of application systems are going to interact with physical environment in real-time. Ensuring the timeliness of systems is becoming a general application requirement. However, there are some fundamental challenges on shared resource management and real-time scheduling when building reliable and efficient real-time systems on current multi-core platforms. Motivated by the actual requirement of tasks that mutually exclusive access shared resources, the problems of resource sharing and task scheduling in multi-core real-time systems are to be studied. The goal of this project is to establish a unified and optimized schedulability analysis with shared resources, propose real-time locking protocols for parallel tasks, and explore new solutions for coordinated optimization of real-time locking protocols and real-time scheduling algorithms. These research topics are of great academic importance and are valuable for the development of real-time and embedded systems.
实时系统以确保任务最坏响应时间不超过其截止时限为首要设计准则,常应用于对时间要求苛刻的安全关键领域。随着信息物理系统、物联网等新兴技术的发展,越来越多的应用系统将与复杂的物理环境进行实时交互,确保系统实时性正逐渐成为普适的应用需求。然而,在现有的多核处理器平台上构建高效可靠的实时系统需要解决共享资源管理、实时任务调度等基础理论难题。本项目拟从多核处理器系统中任务互斥访问共享资源的实际需求出发,围绕资源共享与任务调度问题研究面向多核处理器的实时锁协议(Real-Time Locking Protocol)与实时调度算法;建立统一、优化的多核实时锁协议可调度性分析方法;提出面向并行任务的多核实时锁协议与分析方法;探索多核实时系统中实时锁协议与实时调度算法协同优化的新方法。相关研究对推动实时与嵌入式系统技术发展具有重要的学术意义和应用价值。
在多核实时系统中,任务调度与同步是保障系统实时性的关键。其中,实时调度算法,实时锁协议以及可调度性分析是确保系统实时性的基础与核心技术。为了在满足实时性约束的前提下充分发挥多核平台的计算能力,需要采用准确而高效的可调度性分析方法,同时需要对任务调度与资源共享进行协同优化。本项目围绕资源共享与任务调度问题,研究多处理器实时锁协议与实时调度算法,建立了统一、优化的多核实时锁协议可调度性分析方法,提出了面向并行任务的多核实时锁协议与分析方法,突破了多核实时系统中实时锁协议与实时调度算法协同优化的新方法。相关研究对推动实时与嵌入式系统技术发展具有重要的学术意义和应用价值。
