Vessel planning is one of the core issues in the background of container terminal operations. Nowadays, there is a growing trend towards large-scale for containerships, so ship stability factors become much more crucial. In order to ensure the safety of the ship and reduce the transportation cost, meanwhile improve the port service efficiency, it is important to make an effective schedule and management for containerships at the port. And this becomes a practical and difficult problem faced by container terminals...This project intends to study a kind of vessel planning problems with stability constraints. Three concrete scientific problems are extracted for the research, which are:.(1) For the berth allocation problem, how the stability constraints make impacts on vessel berthing times and berthing positions..(2) For the stowage planning problem, how the stability constraints influence the optimal stowage plan and the decision-making strategies for both the container terminal and the vessel..(3) For the quay crane scheduling problem, how the stability constraints affect the operation schedule of quay cranes...Aiming at the inadequacy of the theory of literature, we expand the research of vessel planning with stability constraints from multiple perspectives. We plan to propose a series of new models, new theories, new methods and new benchmarks. This project, on one hand, helps to enrich the studies of port logistics scheduling. On the other hand, it tries to close the gap between the current research and the vessel planning reality.
港口船舶调度问题是港口调度背景下的核心问题。当前,集装箱船舶已呈现大型化的趋势,船舶稳定性因素变得尤为关键。如何对进出港船舶进行有效地调度与管理,以保证船舶的运行安全和降低船舶的运输成本,并提高港口的服务效率,是我国港口面临的现实难题。..本项目拟研究一类带稳定性约束的港口船舶调度问题,归纳为具体的三个科学问题:..(1)泊位分配问题中稳定性约束对船舶进出港口时间与泊位指派方式有何影响;..(2)配载规划问题中考虑稳定性约束会如何影响配载方案的优化设计,并对港口与船舶双方的决策带来怎样的变化;..(3)岸桥调度问题中稳定性约束会对岸桥的工作安排起到什么作用。..本项目将针对理论文献的不足,从多角度展开稳定性约束对港口船舶调度影响的研究,并提出一系列新模型、新理论、新方法和新研究算例。在理论上丰富港口物流调度的研究,在实践上缩小当前研究与港口船舶调度现实的差距。
